Land Energy

LandEnergy is a renewable energy business. We are focussed on biomass and dedicated to finding our customers commercially viable solutions to reduce their carbon footprint.

We deliver heat and power to the business and the public sectors by financing, installing and operating wood pellet fired boiler systems on an ‘Energy Supply Company’ (ESCO) basis.

We manufacture low carbon, premium quality wood pellets in our own production plant in Girvan, Scotland from virgin feedstock sourced from UK sustainable forests. This combined with our long term feedstock contracts ensures a constant and reliable source of biomass fuel for the ESCO systems that we install.

I-Plas Group Holdings Ltd

I was Chairman of the group which is the UK's most technologically advanced manufacturer of sustainable, high performance, environmentally friendly recycled plastic products.

The company has been at the forefront of mixed plastic waste recycling for many years developing a unique expertise that has allowed us to create a range of products with a wide variety of commercial and domestic applications.

R3 Products Ltd

R3 Products aim to reduce the whole-life cost and the carbon footprint of construction and civil engineering projects by manufacturing from waste plastic, and in particular unwanted, mixed waste plastic. By selecting from three separate moulding techniques, R3 Products manufacturing techniques use the most appropriate process, rather than imposing a single solution which may not necessarily be the most appropriate.

R3's portfolio includes a range of standard and patented market leading products which out perform other competitors solutions.

It has been a pleasure to work with John over the years and most recently in finding the right capital to accelerate growth at IPV.

His decisive and personable character provided confidence in identifying the right partnership and his networking provided broad access to an array of opportunity; considering the needs of the business, including the balance required to meet the long term goals of all the stakeholders, I have no problem recommending John.

Dave Cole

IPV

John and his colleagues at Allied Powers managed a very smooth and effective sales process for AdInfa when we decided to sell the company. From identifying and filtering prospective buyers, writing a sales memorandum, pulling together everything required for the data room, overseeing due diligence, bringing in legal expertise as required, right through to completion - all went pretty smoothly. John's experience and expertise was invaluable in guiding an SME software business to a successful exit.

Philip Petersen

Client

I have know John for over 30 years and we have worked together successfully on several projects. The latest project was at IEA Limited where I reported into John as Chairman. John is an enthusiastic and highly motivational manager who lead the company through some very challenging times and ultimately succeeded in selling the business. John is hard working, extremely trust worthy and performances all his duties with the highest integrity.
